Motor Start Capacitors play a critical role in single-phase AC motors that require a strong starting torque. These capacitors consist of an auxiliary winding with a capacitor in series to produce the necessary phase shift to overcome strong inertia. In the past, Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors were commonly used for this purpose, but they had a major disadvantage of rapidly overheating, limiting their use to a maximum of 20 times within an hour and for not more than 3 seconds. At PAN Electronics, we present an innovative solution to this problem with our Dry Film Capacitors, which can now replace electrolytic capacitors for high-torque start applications and comparatively draws nearly 30% less starting current. Our capacitors are reliable and durable, capable of providing strong starting torque that could take up to 1 minute, depending on the voltage, to reach full speed. With a lifespan of up to 700,000 cycles, our Dry Film Capacitors provide an exceptional solution to your single-phase AC motor needs.
